East Area Proactive Team arrest three males after being found with signal scanning devices, grinders and balaclavas.

In the early hours of this morning, East Area Proactive Team were on duty across Romford when they sighted a suspicious vehicle in the area. The three occupants in the vehicle decamped after seeing the police, making off on foot.

The three males were found with signal scanning devices that are used to steal vehicles.

The suspects were detained and arrested.

Officers also found grinders, gloves and balaclavas.
