South Hornchurch and Beam park officers crack down on anti social behaviour.
South Hornchurch and Beam Park Safer Neighbourhood officers have launched a crackdown on anti social behaviour in the area. Following reports from residents and local Councillors about ongoing anti social behaviour in the ward, officers have taken to the streets to tackle these issues.
Officers have said they will not take these matters lightly and will deal with offenders robustly when needed.
Yesterday, officers received intelligence from the local community on a particular incident of anti social behaviour. After a covert operation, they seized drugs and and cash.
Beam Park Councillor Trevor Mckeever told the Havering Daily: ‘We are well aware of recent incidents and are working in conjunction with our SNT team to bring reassurance to local residents.”
Councillor Matt Stanton told the Havering Daily: ‘Unfortunately some residents feel unable to report issues to the Council or to the police, which means that the scale of problems can be obscured. To help, Trevor and myself advocate for the resources our community deserves, residents should report crime and suspicious behaviour to the Police first rather than social media.”
Residents can report crime or suspicious behavior via 101 or the Met Police website, anonymously via crimestoppers-uk.org (0800 555 111) and in an emergency, always use 999.
