Three people arrested for suspicion of affray, possession of offensive weapon and grievous bodily harm.

Three people are currently in hospital after a fight broke out on Walden Avenue just before 6am today.

Reports of a knife being seen by witnesses who called the police after reports of a disturbance.

A man in his 40s received leg injuries, whilst two women are also in hospital receiving medical treatment.

Three people have been arrested for suspicion of affray, possession of offensive weapon and grievous bodily harm.

A spokesperson for the Met Police told the Havering Daily:

“Police were called at 05:44am on Tuesday, 25 June to Walden Avenue, Rainham, to reports of a group of people fighting and a knife seen.

Three people are currently in hospital after a fight broke out on

 Officers and London Ambulance Service attended.

 At the scene a man, aged 40s, was found with a leg injury.  

 Two women were also injured. All three continue to receive medical treatment.

 Three people were arrested.  Offences include suspicion of affray, possession of offensive weapon and grievous bodily harm.

 Enquiries are ongoing and a number of scenes remain in place.”
