Fight in Dagenham sees man stabbed in the back of the head at a barber shop.

Crime scene in place on Stansgate Road after two males found with stab injuries.

Police and the air ambulance were at the scene of a stabbing today on Stansgate Road,Dagenham. One male was found with a stab wound to the back of the head and taken to an east London hospital. The other victim suffered minor injuries.
Police were called after reports of a fighting breaking out, on their arrival officers found two male victims, one of which had a stab wound to the back of the head.

A crime scene is currently in place at the location and no arrests have been made.

At this stage there is nothing to suggest a wider risk to the public. The investigation is at an early stage and Detectives from East Area CID are progressing enquiries.
