Quick work by Romford Police Officers catches thief red handed.

Romford Town Safer Neighbourhood officers were on patrol on Angel Way yesterday, when they noticed a male make a quick exit as he saw the officers arriving. A foot chase took place that then led to the male being detained. He was found to have stolen four jackets, two of which he promptly digarded whilst legging it from the police!

The male was arrested and charged.
