Part of Main Road in Romford closed after car collides with artic lorry.

Part of Main Road in Romford was closed just after 9am this morning after a vehicle collided with a lorry.

The collision happened near Raphaels Park at 9.25am and partial road closures remained in place whilst emergency services dealt with the incident.

One person was taken to hospital, their injuries are not believed to be serious.

A spokesperson for the Met Police told the Havering Daily:

“Police were called at approximately 09:25 on Thursday, 13 June to reports of two cars in collision in Main Road, Romford.

Partial road closures have been put in place while the scene is dealt with.

One person was taken to hospital for treatment; their injuries are not thought to be serious.

Enquiries into the circumstances continue.”
