Knife crime is out of control-12 year old children found guilty of stabbing to death 19 year.
Another bereaved family today will deal with the fact that their 19 year old son will not be returning home. Sean Seeshai was murdered in a park in Wolverhampton last autumn. Sean had only been in the UK for six months, having come here to have eye surgery. He and his friends were sitting on a park bench when two youngsters came over.
Sean lost his life to a machete, a machete and knife wielded by two 12 year old boys. The police, as is frequently the case, were the first on scene and provided first aid. However, despite all their efforts the 19 year old lost his life.
A machete was found under one of the youngster’s bed and a tracksuit with blood stains. Forensic analysis of the phone also revealed multiple images of large knives and weapons and a search asking ‘how many criminal records can you have to leave the country’.
Sean was murdered by two 12 year old boys. Boys who should today be in year 8 at school and instead are currently in prison where they remain until they are sentenced for this horrendous, brutal and senseless crime.
Politicians prepare themselves for a General Election, not one has yet to tackle how they are going to address an issue that is now clearly out of control. Bereaved parents have been begging and pleading for help to stop knife crime. Nobody has listened and here we are, with two 12 year old children found guilty of killing a 19 year old.
This is an urgent issue that must be addressed by those who will form the government. It is an issue that needs urgent assistance now. Yet, it won’t have it. It will go once again ignored and more empty promises will be made. More teenagers will die on our streets and nobody will care.
When will knife crime finally be addressed and how many more victims will we have before it is addressed?
