Citizens Advice Havering celebrates Trustee’s Community Service Award from Havering Mayor.

Citizens Advice Havering is proud to announce that Sue Dix, former Chair of the Board of Trustees, has been honoured with the prestigious Mayor’s Award. The award, presented by Councillor Stephanie Nunn of the London Borough of Havering, recognises Sue Dix’s outstanding contribution and meritorious services to the community.
During her tenure as Chair, Sue Dix demonstrated unwavering commitment and exceptional leadership, significantly impacting the lives of those seeking advice and support within the community. Her strategic guidance and dedication have been instrumental in advancing our mission to assist residents in navigating life’s challenges.
While accepting the award, Sue Dix humbly redirected the spotlight towards the unsung heroes of Citizens Advice Havering – our volunteers – stating:“I feel that what I do does not compare to what our volunteers do on the front lines. I see this award as an opportunity to bring attention to those volunteers who work tirelessly at Citizens Advice Havering.”
Sue expressed her gratitude to the trustees, board, and CEO of Citizens Advice Havering, emphasising her appreciation for the collaborative efforts that have bolstered the organisation’s reach and impact.
