Romford MP celebrates St George’s Day in Parliament with special guests.
The Member of Parliament for Romford and Havering’s Mayor and Consort gathered at the Speaker’s State Apartments to celebrate St George’s Day last week. The event was organised by the Houses of Parliament branch of the Royal Society of St George and hosted by Mr Speaker, Lindsay Hoyle MP and Andrew Rosindell MP.
Mr Rosindell was joined by Councillor Stephanie Nunn, Havering’s Mayor and Consort Councillor Barry Mugglestone. Also present was Romford Town Crier, Tony Appleton and the Romford British Legion Band and Corps of Drums.
A beautiful cake was made for the special celebrations and enjoyed by all!
Mr Rosindell said: “What a magnificent occasion in celebration of England, our country!”.
