The Habbit Factory celebrates its 20 birthday as they unveil ‘Our Story’ a special production at the Queen’s Theatre.

The Habbit Factory is an Inclusive Theatre Charity based in Havering and on 9 April they celebrated their 20th Birthday. 
They were founded in 2004, and are an inclusive arts organisation currently working with 450 children and young people weekly in the London Borough of Havering. Their approach is built on the principles of inclusivity, which welcomes everyone regardless of background, race and/or disability.They co-create large-scaled performances with children and young people which challenges stigma in the wider community. During workshops they teach acting, singing and dancing.

The theatre’s motto is “where everyone can have their moment in the spotlight” aligns with their vision of an inclusive world, where the arts is accessible to all. Their approach of not conducting auditions reflects this ideology.

Joining The Habbit Factory is completely fee-free.. While there is no obligation, they suggest considering a monthly donation of £15 to support their ongoing work.
