Ruth Kettle-Frisby and her two children took a trip to Romford to join in the fun at the Liberty this Easter.

Eco Ever After at the Liberty was a fantastical community-spirited treat for little ones during the Easter holidays.

Blending an eco-friendly ethos with imaginative, nature-inspired crafts, a flourish of magic lifted this free event, bringing families together.

Children from all across the borough delighted in making fairy homes, pressed flower sun catchers, leaf rubbings and paintings, dear little fairy homes, pine cone characters, and nature-themed art.

On each day, a steady stream of children certainly kept the Recycle Fairy facilitators busy in this well-organised and presented pop-up Enchanted Eco Forest.

Eco Ever After was visually charming and great fun. It was also really positive to see such a creative approach to eco-awareness.

As someone with a bit of a penchant for a mythical aesthetic, this event has left me with the distinct sense that if there’s one thing Romford could do with, it’s more shopping centre-dwelling faery folk crafting with our kids!
