Serious collision in Hornchurch as driver flees the scene.

British Transport Police officers attended a serious collision just after midnight in Hornchurch. The incident took place on Ardleigh Green Road at 00.32. The driver of a Seat Ibiza had collided with two stationary vehicles, one being a AA repair van and then fled the scene of the accident.

A spokesperson for the Met Police told the Havering Daily:

“Police were called at 00:32hrs on Tuesday, 9 April to reports of a road traffic collision on Ardleigh Green Road, Hornchurch.

 “Officers from British Transport Police attended and established that the driver of a Seat Ibiza had collided with two stationary vehicles parked on the street. The driver had made off from scene prior to police arrival. No injuries have been reported.”
