Brock Whiston Prepares for British Swimming Championships
Brock Whiston of the Barking & Dagenham Aquatics club is gearing up for the British Swimming Championships next week in Stratford. The event, running from April 2nd to 7th, includes both the Olympic and Paralympic trials, where Brock will compete in five para-swimming events.
Her schedule is packed, with the 400m freestyle on Friday, followed by the 100m butterfly and the 200m individual medley on Saturday, and wrapping up with the 100m freestyle and 100m breaststroke on Sunday.
Training at Becontree Leisure Centre and the Aquatics Centre on the Olympic Park, Whiston, a four-time world champion, has been reclassified back to the S8/SB8/SM8 class, where she holds world records. However, the trials will feature multi-classification events.
