Recently, Wanis International Foods in Rainham had the honour of hosting Mr.Vytenis Tomkus, Lithuania’s Vice Minister for Agriculture, and other delegates from the Lithuanian Embassy, marking a significant step in the company’s commitment to global engagement. The event underscored Wanis’s dedication to fostering international partnerships and celebrating diverse cultures.

Delegates were given a tour of Wanis’s Rainham warehouse, where they got to meet workers, followed by a presentation by Wanis’s Commercial Director, George Phillips.

Wanis employs many Lithuanian staff, as well as being an importer of Lithuanian products, so the event was a perfect opportunity for Wanis to showcase the great work they are doing to position themselves as a leader in promoting cross-cultural understanding and collaboration.

Paul Harrison, Head of Community at Wanis, expressed his delight in welcoming a delegate from the Lithuanian Embassy, stating, “It was a pleasure to host Mr. Tomkus and strengthen our international ties.” Looking forward, he emphasized Wanis’s commitment to broadening its global reach and fostering deeper connections with diverse communities.

Paul extended his heartfelt appreciation to Wanis’s team members for their invaluable contributions, highlighting their dedication as a shining example of the company’s collective commitment to global engagement. He added, “Their efforts set the stage for our future endeavours, as we continue to pursue our mission of facilitating intercultural comprehension and cooperation.”
