Women of all Faiths gathered together yesterday, 13 March, in Elm Park to celebrate International Women’s Day at Havering Asian Social and Welfare Assocation.

Joined by Havering Mayor Councillor Stephanie Nunn and Julie Frost from Romford BID, ladies spoke about their experiences as women in today’s society, sang songs and shared food in celebration.

Organised by Manjit at HASWA, the event was a fantastic celebration where women came together and shared their experiences and made new friends.

HASWA is an amazing organisation that looks after many women from all across our community.
