Police attended MacDonald’s on Ballards Road, Dagenham yesterday morning just after 6am, after a man was assaulted inside the premises.

The man in his 20s was taken to hospital where his injuries have been deemed as not life threatening.

A spokesperson for the Met Police told the Havering Daily:

“Police were called at approximately 06:10 on Sunday, 10 March to reports of a man assaulted inside a fast food restaurant in Ballards Road, Dagenham.

Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and the victim, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital for treatment – his injuries are not life threatening.

No arrests; enquiries into the circumstances continue.”
