‘You can run but you can’t hide’-Police Dog Cassius catches car thief following police chase.

Great team work by Havering Joint Task Force, the police helicopter NPAS and police dog Cassius saw a thief apprehended in Upminster.

Officers from Havering Joint Task Force pursued a cloned/stolen Mercedes yesterday evening following reports of attempted Hilux thefts.

The vehicle crashed on Moor Lane in Upminster and police pursued the driver into undergrowth where thanks to the police helicopter and police dog Cassius, he was located and apprehended.
