VIDEO:’Stop the bleed’ training and first aid course given to local parents in Havering.
On Sunday 3 March parents including anti knife crime campaigners Sue Hedges and April Hayden from the Ricky Hayden Memorial, joined a special bleed kit training and first aid course run by EMS Response.
Parents were taught how to use bleed kits to stop a catastrophic bleed and other forms of first aid.
EMS Response offer First Aid to Critical Care for any event or situation from a school fete to large festivals. The team cover all events of any size or potential risks with a variety of purpose built response built vehicles for any terrain.
They also supply first aid training for schools, teaching staff and companies as well as bespoke courses for people’s individual requirements.
This was a fantastic day’s training that supplied vital life saving skills for everyone who attended.
