Havering’s Burglary and Robbery Investigation Team have charged two teenagers with robbery following an incident in Romford several weeks ago.

A spokesperson for the Met Police told the Havering Daily:

“Our Burglary and Robbery Investigation Team in Havering has charged two teenagers following a report of a robbery in Romford town centre.

Two 15-year-old boys were approached in the town centre by the suspects who allegedly threatened to stab them and took their phones.

The suspects have been remanded to appear at court tomorrow.

We are committed to investigate robberies happening in our Town Centre and across East London.

We urge anyone who has been a victim of robbery to come forward. Without such reports we are unable to build up a picture or take the ones committing these offences to court.”
