Bereaved mother donates life saving bleed kit to Romford and Gidea Park and Upminster Rugby Club.
‘What a fantastic woman Sue is donating these kits to sports clubs, pubs and schools.’
Last week Sue Hedges from the Ricky Hayden Memorial donated two vital life saving Daniel Baird bleed kits to Romford and Gidea Park Rugby Club and Upminster Rugby Club. The bags were donated in memory of her son Ricky who was murdered in 2016 in Marks Gate.
In Upminster the bleed kit was gratefully accepted by Club Safeguarding Officer Scott Harrington.
The club wrote: “What a fantastic woman Sue is, donating these kits to sports clubs, pubs and schools.
“Let’s get these kits standard in institutions alongside first aid kits.”
Sue is a local community champion whose tireless worked has saved lives right across east London. She really is an incredible lady.
