Great partnership between Havering Police and Council CCTV operators sees males arrested after breaking into Romford store.
Police arrive on scene within minutes after council CCTV operators spotted breakin taking place.
At 4am today, Havering Council CCTV Operators informed Havering Police via radio link that two males were breaking into a grocery shop in South Street, Romford.
East Area Emergency Response officers arrived within 7 minutes to the Romford call and two male suspects were arrested at the scene. The investigation is now ongoing.
This is fantastic proactive work by Havering Council CCTV operators and East Area Emergency Response officers. Their rapid thinking and quick spotting, has seen two males now arrested.
