Over 60 firefighters tackling Romford house fire.

Smoke can be seen right across Romford this morning as eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters have been called to a fire at a mid-terraced house on Bournebrook Grove.

It is has been reported that part of the roof is alight.

The Brigade was called at 9:53am and is still on scene. Fire crews from Dagenham, Romford, Leyton, Harold Hill, Ilford, Barking and Poplar fire stations are in attendance.

The cause of the fire is not know at this stage.

Please note due to the fire, some buses are being diverted.
