Romford Poppy Appeal raises over £17,000.
Well done to Romford’s Poppy sellers who have raised over £17,000 for the British Legion.The Romford poppy appeal team; Graham, Barry, Carol, Glenn, and Tony would like to thank the people of Romford and Havering, for their generosity during the 2023 Appeal.
The team would especially like to thank the staff of Margaret Thatcher House for allowing them to use their premises during the appeal. They would also like to thank the Management and staff of The Mercury Shopping Centre for their assistance with the Poppy Appeal Launch and for the provision of a stall throughout the Appeal.
The team are also very grateful for the support given by school staff and the donations from the school children.
The interim total is £17,356.25.
