Police officer from Havering cleared of rape but still faces misconduct review.
A Met police officer from Havering has been cleared of raping a woman but is still facing a misconduct review.
PC Jordan Pascal, who comes from Havering, was working as an Essex Police Officer when the alleged offence took place in Southend in 2009. The officer then transferred to the Met in 2012.
On February 2, PC Pascal was charged with rape and pleaded not guilty in April. He was then acquitted in September this year before the case went to trial.
Essex police led the investigation.
The Met Police has confirmed that PC Pascal is still subject to a misconduct review by its Directorate of Professional Standards.
