Romford Co-op donate Christmas tree to local Care Home to put a smile on residents faces.

The Co-op Funeralcare in Romford have recently donated a Christmas tree to a local Havering Care home, the Willows. The tree has been placed on the balcony at the front of the Care home. The Co-op have a long running ethic to help within the community. Christopher Saunders, Funeral Director told the Havering Daily: ” We are always trying to see opportunities where we can help with a local charity or scheme and put back into the community in which we are part of. On this occasion we have helped to put a smile on the faces of the residents of the Willows”.

Michelle the activities manger for the Willows, said: “The tree is decorated and all ready for the carol service that we are holding underneath the balcony where we have proudly placed the tree.”

The Co-op have also donated a hamper as a raffle prize for The Willows.

Christopher at the Co-op, is always eager to step in and help his local community and already has plans for how he will be helping next year!
