Boxing Promoter and TV Personality Kellie Maloney has been honoured with a nomination for Best Documentary at the I Am Film Festival, which is being held this Friday 8th December. Kellie will be at Premiere Cinema, Level 3 Mercury Gardens Romford, this Friday and her film screens at 6:30pm.

The nomination recognizes her contribution to the world of sports and storytelling through the gripping documentary series titled “Knockout Blonde.” “Knockout Blonde” delves into Maloney’s remarkable journey, shedding light on the challenges she faced within the boxing industry due to her gender conflict. The documentary series candidly explores her struggles, triumphs, and relentless pursuit of breaking barriers in a traditionally male-dominated field. The I AM Film Festival, known for showcasing compelling stories that inspire and provoke thought, will bring together industry professionals, filmmakers, and cinephiles to celebrate outstanding contributions to the world of cinema. “Knockout Blonde” stands. 

Kellie Maloney is an active boxing promoter and Television Personality, most notably connected to the boxer Lennox Lewis whom she managed between 1989 and 2001.  In 2014, Kellie announced she would no longer be known as Frank (Francis) Maloney and later the same year signed up to Celebrity Big Brother to ensure his story made it out to the public her way. She also appeared in the 2019 series of MasterChef.

Maloney stood as the UKIP candidate for Barking in 2010.
