Keith Prince AM has slammed the London Mayor for making false claims on knife crime. Mr Prince who hosted a Knife Crime Summit at City Hall in the summer this year, has hit out at Sadiq Khan stating that he has been called out for telling lies.

Mr Prince is an active supporter of bereaved parents across Havering, Redbridge and London, who have lost their children to knife crime and spends a great deal of time supporting mums who donate vital life saving Daniel Baird bleed kits across a variety of venues across east London.

Commenting on reports Sadiq Khan has been rebuked by the Office for Statistics Regulation for making false claims about knife crime, Mr Prince said:

“Sadiq Khan has been caught out once again telling lies. In July, Sadiq Khan issued a media release claiming knife crime has fallen under his watch when we all know the opposite is true.

”The Office for Statistics Regulation has now rebuked the Mayor for making his disgraceful false and misleading claims.

“Crime is out of control in London. Sadiq Khan runs the Met Police so the buck stops him. We need less spin and more action to cut crime on our streets.”
