VIDEO: TIME FM’s Give a Child a Christmas Campaign: Spreading Festive Cheer to 3000 Underprivileged Children
The festive spirit is in full swing as TIME 107.5 FM kicks off its 19th annual ‘Give a Child a Christmas‘ appeal, sponsored by GBP Estates. This heartwarming initiative aims to collect gifts for approximately 3000 underprivileged children, ensuring that Christmas joy reaches those who need it the most.
The TIME 107.5 FM office, located down Laurie Walk in The Liberty Shopping Centre, Romford, RM1 3RT, and GBP Estates in Victoria Road are the designated drop-off points for gifts. Additionally, contributions can be made through their GoFundMe page.
The team is also collaborating with Romford BID and The Body Shop on South Street. Their partnership highlights a collective commitment to spread cheer and support the community during the festive season.
Numerous local businesses have rallied behind this initiative, facilitating the distribution of Christmas presents to various charities, including Women’s Aid, Salvation Army, Peabody Trust, Havering Social Services, Queens, and King George’s Hospitals. These generous donations will ensure that children of all ages, including teenagers, receive heartwarming gifts on Christmas Day.
“We’re grateful for the overwhelming support from the community and local businesses,” said station manager, Mark Dover. “Your contributions will directly impact the lives of these children, bringing smiles and joy during the holiday season.”

To streamline the process and maximize impact, all funds raised through the GoFundMe page will be utilized to purchase gifts from local Romford stores, many of which have generously offered discounts to support the cause. The goal is to raise sufficient funds by December 8th to purchase and wrap the gifts in time for Christmas Day celebrations.
Residents and supporters are encouraged to participate by donating gifts or contributing financially. Every contribution, big or small, will play a pivotal role in making a difference in the lives of underprivileged children within the community.
“We have a long way to go to meet our target, so please join us in making this holiday season special for those in need,” added Mark. “Let’s come together and bring a spark of joy to brighten up this festive time for every child.”
Well done to the TIME 107.5 FM team for their efforts to ensure every child experiences the magic of Christmas in Havering. Let’s make this Christmas a truly special one for all!
