Over the weekend, a special Remembrance exhibition was held at the Ingrebourne Valley Visitors Centre, in Hornchurch Country Park. The exhibition was well attended by the general public and on both days, Armistice and Remembrance Sunday, wreaths were laid after the Last Post was sounded. A minute silence was also observed in tribute to the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in the defence of this nation.
