Remembrance services to be held across Havering.
Residents across the borough are invited to gather at Remembrance services this month to honour those who have served our country.
A service for Armistice Day will take place on Saturday 11 November, with Remembrance events being held throughout the borough on Sunday 12 November.
Mayor of Havering, Councillor Stephanie Nunn, said:
“We welcome everyone to come together and mark Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday once again in Havering.
“It gives the borough a chance to remember our servicemen and women from Britain and the Commonwealth, who gave so much in order to keep us safe.
“We are proud to stand as a community to mark this significant occasion each November which highlights the continued bravery and sacrifices of our Armed Forces.”
