Man arrested for assault on emergency service worker and driving unfit due to drugs after crashing into a wall in Hornchurch.
A man in his 30s was arrested yesterday following a collision with a wall in Suttons Avenue, Hornchurch. The incident happened at 10pm, and the driver was arrested at the scene on suspicion of driving whist unfit due to drugs and assault of an emergency service worker.
He was taken to hospital.
A spokesperson for the Met Police told the Havering Daily:
“Police were called at approximately 22:00 on Friday, 27 October to reports of a car in collision with a wall in Suttons Avenue, Hornchurch.
Officers and London Ambulance Service attended.
The driver of the car, a man aged in his 30s, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of driving whilst unfit due to drugs and assault of an emergency services worker – he was taken to hospital as a precaution.”
