Man in his 30s assaulted in Chadwell Heath.
A man in his 30s was taken to hospital yesterday afternoon, after being assaulted in Chadwell Heath. The incident happened at 5.30pm on High Road and witnesses have reported seeing a group of men stamp all over the victim as he lay on the ground.
The man was taken to hospital where it is believed his injuries are not life threatening.
A spokesperson for the Met Police told the Havering Daily:
“Police were called at about 17:30 on Monday, 16 October to High Road, Chadwell Heath to reports of a man assaulted.
Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and the man, believed to be in his 30s, was taken to hospital. His condition was assessed as not life-threatening or life-changing.
An investigation is under way and enquiries are ongoing. There have been no arrests.”
