VIDEO: Fantastic rescue by local Harold Hill Deer Aid Group saves another stag.

In 2017 a group of Harold Hill residents united to form a deer aid rescue group. The animal lovers formed Harold Hill Deer Aid, a non profit,non funded group of like minded animal lovers who are fiercely passionate in ensuring that all animals in need, rightly receive the appropriate care and attention they deserve.

The group consists of Jan Sargeant, Shantel Louise, Mick Hockley and his sister Laura Hockley.

The team now operate a free 24/7 voluntary service expanding to many surrounding areas. They care about animals, and most importantly, care about their welfare, nothing more, nothing less.

Over the years they have not only grown in knowledge and experience, but also very proud to now work alongside many recognised professional rescue and response services.

This rescue was undertaken in Epping where the team assisted Essex Fire Rescue Services.

They really are a fantastic team of volunteers who travel right across Havering and Essex to help as many animals as they can.

Havering is very fortunate to have such dedicated volunteers in our community who value animals lives as they should be.

The team would like to thank all their supporters as without them we would not be able to operate as efficiently and effectively as they do.With their kind donations and support they are able to afford vet bills, buy essential equipment and manage every day running costs.They are also our eyes and ears which they really appreciate.
