Parts of Romford cordoned off as man in his 20s suffers injuries.

East Area Command officers have charged three men after a man in his 20s was assaulted in the early hours of Saturday 7 October.

The incident happened at 3.40am on South Street near the train station and the area was closed off whilst officers investigated.

The man was taken to hospital and his injuries have been assessed as not life threatening.

The three men have been charged with GBH and Affray and are due at Barkingside Magistrate’s Court today.
