Mindless Vandalism Strikes Albyns Farm Lake

Unfortunately Albyns Farm Lake in Rainham, locally known as ‘Tit Lake’, has fallen victim to an act of vandalism that has left its community in disbelief. Recently, Response Baits, a company dedicated to the preservation of this natural gem, took the initiative to build new fencing and gates around the lake swims. The goal was to provide anglers with a designated area to set up their equipment while also preventing unwanted incidents like dogs getting into the lake when people are fishing.

Sean and Kevin, the owners of Response Baits, expressed their profound disappointment, and told the Havering Daily: “We invested our time and resources into improving Tit Lake’s environment for all to enjoy. It’s disheartening to witness such mindless vandalism undermining our efforts.”

This incident has left both lake members and the local community devastated. The newly installed fencing and gates were not only intended to enhance the overall experience for anglers but also to protect the fragile ecosystem of the lake. Tit Lake serves as more than just a recreational spot; it’s a haven for wildlife and a testament to the shared responsibility of preserving our natural treasures.
