Age UK Redbridge, Barking & Havering have opened a brand new Nail Cutting Clinic for older people.
Many older people find it hard to cut their own toenails. This can lead to a risk of foot problems as well as being uncomfortable. Residents of the older community can now have their nails trimmed at the Age UK Ilford office.
Keeping nails trimmed, especially the toenails can help maintain mobility and keep you active. We provide an affordable service within a safe and trustworthy environment. We are also working towards opening more clinics across our borough as well as a mobile service.
Age UK Redbridge, Barking & Havering (RBH) has been established for over 50 years. Last year the organisation supported over 6000 older people across the three boroughs offering a range of preventative services to ensure older people stay well, independent and engaged in the communities.
The Nail Cutting Clinic is open on Tuesdays and by appointment only. To book an appointment and for more information please visit the website at https://www.ageuk.org.uk/redbridgebarkinghavering/our-services/nail-cutting-clinic/
or contact Sami Jobanputra, Business Development Manager on 07943 877035. You can also email Nailcuttingclinic@ageukrbh.org.uk.
