Male arrested within minutes after exposing himself to children in Hornchurch park.

A man who exposed himself to children at Harrow Lodge Park yesterday afternoon, was arrested within minutes after police received the initial call.

The shocking incident happened at 3.30pm when the two teenagers were believed to have been sitting on a bench when the man walked over and exposed himself and then urinated in public.

The man was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure and remains in police custody.

A spokesperson for the Met police told the Havering Daily:

“Police were called at 15:38 on Sunday, 24 September to reports of a man exposing himself in front of children in Harrow Lodge Park, Hornchurch. 

Officers attended and carried out a search of the park. Within 12 minutes of the call coming in, a man matching the description of the suspect was arrested nearby on suspicion of indecent exposure.

He remains in custody at an east London police station and enquiries are ongoing.”
