As the public go about their daily life-thousands of police officers across London will remove endless criminals from our streets.

Here is just a small snapshot of the work being done across the capital by our police officers.

Yesterday, a 27 year old male was convicted after being apprehended following a spate of sexual attacks on women. Officers in Camden were carrying our proactive patrols when they spotted a man wearing similar clothing to that of the suspect described to them by the victims.

Officers fast paced work saw them apprehend the suspect, arrested him and under take a thorough investigation.

Yesterday, in Edgware a man appeared in court charged in connection with rape.

The victim is being supported by specially trained officers.

Yesterday, police officers in Barking, arrested a wanted male who was found with multiple offensive weapons on him. He was arrested for going equipped to steal and for failing to appear in court.

Yesterday, officers in Barking closed down a cannabis farm at a commercial property and arrested a male.

Last week, a man was arrested on suspicion of murder after a teenage boy suffered stab injuries in Lambeth.

The 15 year old boy is currently in hospital with potentially life changing injuries.

Today, police officers across London will perform life saving first aid.

Today, police officers across London, will arrest an individual for carrying a knife.

Today, police officers across London will intervene to stop a potentially life threatening situation take place.

Today, police officers across London will hold a person’s hand as their life passes away.

There are police officers who should not be in their jobs. There are also thousands whose job makes a real difference to our community.
