The Ricky Hayden Memorial donate life saving bleed kit to Essex Ringside Boxing Gym.
Bereaved mother and anti knife crime campaigner Sue Hedges yesterday, 7 September, donated a Daniel Baird bleed kit to Essex Ringside Boxing Gym in Elm Park.
The anti knife crime campaigner was joined by her daughter April Hayden to donate the life saving tool in memory of Ricky who tragically lost his life to knife crime in 2016.
Sue and April donated the bleed kit to Darren from the boxing gym on Elm Park Avenue and were joined by Honey Upaal from the award winning restaurant Tandoori Lounge in Hornchurch.
Darren from Essex Ringside Boxing Gym, does a fantastic job training youths of all ages.
Honey and Sukh are great community champions, holding regular events at their Hornchurch restaurant to raise money for local charities.
Anti knife crime campaigner Sue, has dedicated her life not only campaigning against knife crime, but also donating these vital life saving tools to as many venues and organisations as she can.
She told the Havering Daily: “Thank you to Darren from Essex Ringside Boxing Gym for accepting a Daniel Baird bleed kit. We know just how important these kits are in our community. Every kit donated, is another life saved.
“Thank you to Honey and Sukh from the Tandoori Lounge for all their support. It is great to see the community come together and unite against knife crime.”
