BREAKING: Baby’s body found at Harold Hill address.
Police were called to Mimosa Close yesterday evening after concerns for the welfare of a baby. Tragically a body was found at the Harold Hill premises and an investigation is now under way.
The baby’s death is being treated as unexplained and a scene remains in place at the address.
A spokesperson for the Met Police told the Havering Daily:
“At approximately 19:40hrs on Tuesday, 22 August police were called to an address in Mimosa Close, Havering following reports for concerns of the welfare of a baby.
Officers attended.
The body of a baby was located.
At this time the death is being treated as unexpected and under investigation.
A scene remains in place at the address.
Enquiries into the circumstances continue.”
This is a very tragic incident that the police are investigating, so it is important we do not speculate any further and let the investigation continue.
