BREAKING: A man and a woman arrested on suspicion of murder following discovery of baby’s body.

A man and a woman have been arrested following the discovery of a baby’s body in Harold Hill yesterday, Tuesday 22 August.

The man and woman were arrested at the scene on Mimosa Close on suspicion of murder in connection with this incident and remain in custody.

Officers attended the residential property yesterday just before 8pm, following concerns about the baby’s welfare.

The body of the baby was located and the death was treated as unexplained.

The investigation into the baby’s death began.
