Romford Shopping Hall Crafty Tuesdays are delightful sessions!

Havering resident and mum of two young girls, Ruth Kettle Frisby today shares her thoughts on her recent visit to Romford.

Tuesdays at Romford Shopping Hall are Crafty Tuesdays, and for exhausted parents, grandparents and carers doing our best to entertain our children during the summer holiday, these delightful sessions are a Godsend!

Multi-tasking Michelle (manager of Romford Shopping Hall and all-round superstar) has organised these sessions, which she herself delivers, and she’s doing a fantastic job.

My three year old loved making these gorgeous ladybirds, and she enjoyed making friends with other children too as they crafted away together.

Next Tuesday (August 22nd) Michelle will be helping children to make bumblebees, and it was lovely to hear her start a gently educational conversation with my daughter about how important bees are to our environment.

No booking required, just turn up between 10am and 12pm and join in the fun!

The best bit? I’m torn between the fact it only costs £1…and you can watch your kids explore their artistic sides without having to clear up afterwards!
