Parts of Launders Lane scrubland destroyed by fire.

Firefighters from Wennington and Dagenham fire stations have tackled a blaze this morning between New Road and Launders Lane in Rainham.

The fire has destroyed around 20 square metres of scrubland.

Firefighters were called at 6:05am and the fire was out by 8:15am. The cause of the fire is unknown.
