Family Fun Day to be held at Rainham Leisure Centre.

Rainham Leisure Centre will host a second free, family fun weekend, this Saturday 29^th July and Sunday 30^thJuly.

Managed by Everyone Active in partnership with Havering Council, the centre will be showcasing its brand-new swimming facilities over the weekend, with free swimming available for everyone. 

Following the recent opening of the ‘dry side facilities’ ahead of schedule, the ‘wet side facilities’ will now be open to the public, boasting an impressive 25m, six-lane swimming pool, offering fitness and casual swimming sessions, alongside swimming lessons.

With the full site now open, the centre is continuing its celebrations with a second open weekend, offering the local community another two days of action packed and fun filled activity, all for free.  

Running from 10am to 4pm, the centre will be offering free lane and family swimming sessions, use of the new children’s outside play area, along with face painters, balloon modellers and stilt walkers, on Saturday, with free swimming sessions available on Sunday.

Tom Fletcher, area contract manager at Everyone Active, said: “Since opening the dry side facilities in early July, we’ve received overwhelmingly positive feedback from the local community. With the opening of the swimming pool this weekend, the full site is now open and we couldn’t be more excited.

“We’re delighted to invite the community to come down and experience the facilities, offering a whole weekend of fun filled, family activities – all for free.”
