Poll shows 97% of Havering residents do not want the ULEZ expansion.
A recent poll run by the Havering Daily has revealed that 97% of the residents in the borough do not want the planned ultra low emission zone expansion.
The poll received thousands of votes over a three day period and the results are as follows:
97% – 3770 votes against the expansion.
2% – 109 votes for the expansion.
ULEZ is due to start at the end of August and has faced a backlash from many of the outer London boroughs who are objecting to expansion.
Please note there is a an anti ULEZ demonstration taking place tonight outside of the Town Hall in Romford at 7pm.
