Man taken to hospital after fight breaks out in Rainham.

Rainham residents collecting their children after school were horrified to see a fight break out between two men where one smashed up the other’s car.

It also believed that one of the males had a gun in his car, however no gun was found at the scene.

The incident took place on Mungo Park Road just after 5pm on Friday 23 June and saw one of the males taken to hospital after sustaining an injury.

A spokesperson for the Met Police told the Havering Daily:

“Police were called to Mungo Park Road in Rainham at about 17:06 on Friday 23 June following reports of disturbance involving two men, one reportedly in possession of a firearm.
Officers attended and located a male with an injury to his arm, sustained as a result of the incident. He was taken to hospital for treatment.
No firearms were recovered from the scene and no arrests have been made at this stage.
Enquiries are ongoing.”
