VIDEO: Cousin of murdered Liam Taylor donates bleed bag to boxing club in moving tribute.
Eight year old Leiyton did not want a birthday present this year, instead he asked for a Daniel Baird bleed kit to donate to his community. Leiyton lost his cousin Liam ‘Fish’ Taylor in 2019 after being stabbed in Writtle. Now, in his memory Leiyton is following his nan Julie Taylor’s footsteps and donating as many of these vital life saving tools across the community as he can.
Yesterday, Wednesday 7 June, eight year old Leiyton and Julie donated the bleed bag to the Chelmsford Amateur Boxing Club on Rectory Lane. The club do an amazing job teaching and training youngsters.
The Daniel Baird bleed bag was gratefully accepted by the President of the Club Paul Mercer after Leiyton made his moving tribute to his cousin ‘Fish’.
These bleed bags are vital life saving tools in our community and campaigners such as Julie, have dedicated their lives to saving others from dying on our streets.
