BREAKING: Man arrested after woman found in a critical condition in Rainham.

A woman in her 30s was taken to hospital after being found in critical condition at a house on Betterton Road in Rainham on Friday 2 June.

London Ambulance attended the scene at 11.05pm and took the woman to hospital.

A man was arrested at the scene in connection with this incident and it is believed the man and woman are known to each other.

A spokesperson for the Met Police told the Havering Daily:

“Police were called by London Ambulance Service at around 23:05 on Friday, 2 June, to an injured woman at a residential address in Betterton Road, Rainham.

Officers attended the location.

The woman, aged in her 30s, was taken to hospital by ambulance. Her condition is critical.

A man was arrested at the scene in connection with the incident. He remains in custody.
