To mark His Majesty the King’s Coronation, many charities and organisations across Havering joined in The Big Help Out that was created to to use volunteering to bring communities together and create a lasting legacy from the Coronation weekend.

The event took place at the Town Hall in Romford and was organised by Shelly at Havering Volunteer Centre and members of Havering Council’s Events Team.

Havering’s Mayor Councillor Trevor McKeever and Havering’s Leader of The Council, Councillor Ray Morgon, joined charities and organisations from across the borough that took part in the event, that also saw fantastic Bollywood dancing by Veena!
