Despite the rain coming down, Romford held its coronation celebrations in the market place yesterday Saturday 6 May.

Organised by Julie Frost from Romford BID, a large screen was placed in the market place with deck chairs for residents to come out and watch the special occasion.

Marquees were also set up for residents to enjoy a glass of wine slice of cake to mark the historic event of the crowning of HM King Charles III.
